And then there were two...

Well here's an interesting twist. I won't be driving all 36 hours of the long road West alone. Amanda has decided she's just masocistic enough to share the ride with me. I think that will make the trip a real blast! She's not seen the West and what better way than from an overfilled minivan hauling ass down the American freeway. Devils Tower and hot dogs here we come!

Movin' On Up to the West Side...

As I prepare for my impending move to Seattle, I though it would be a good idea to publish a blog on this site so folks can keep track of my activity... I'll post here as I have time so you can know what's up in the World Of Natebot.

What, what? You didn't hear the news? I got a job in Seattle and have to be there by the end of the month. so I'm hitting the road on the 25th for the great drive West. It's just now dawning on me how much stuff I have to do before I am ready to leave. I mean, I don't really have that much stuff - compaired to most Americans - but what am I gonna do with this crap?

Tony is taking some of my books. He's getting the Beat Library I have amasted over the years, including original printings of Abbie's Steal This Book, Dylan's Tarantula, and Ginsberg' Indian Journeys. This year alone I have given over 150 books to the public library andsold $200 worth on Amazon. But I still have dozens more...most never read - at least by me - because they were inherited from a college friend...

The Adventure Begins

This blog records the adventures of Mr. the Bot on his adventure to the West. I have been recently hired by Privateer Press, an award-winning game company located in Seattle, WA.

I leave behind my Midwest family and many friends accumulated over the years in search of paycheck, professional advancement, and, hopefully, a whole lot of fun. My only regret is the thousands of miles of distance between myself and Amanda, a woman I've grown very fond of in just the short time we've share here in Bloomington.

Like most folks, I'm never good with good byes. Maybe this blog won't be a good bye at all.
